Dr. Gabriel Heiber M.D.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist who completed medical school, residency and fellowship at Northwestern University, where I also worked for a number of years as full-time faculty and continue as Clinical Assistant Professor. I provide treatment for a variety of general mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, while also having expertise in the care of mental health symptoms that interplay with medical problems. I combine strategies including lifestyle changes, supplements, medications, psychotherapy, and TMS.
My approach is centered on meeting patients where they are, valuing collaboration that fosters an alliance grounded in trust and empathy. I take pride in seeing the person in the patient, and taking the time to do so. Together, we can explore and pursue treatment options to find your Vital Balance: emotional and physical wellness.
My focus is on adults 18 and older. For those who may need it, I am glad to provide care in Spanish, as I am a native speaker.
